Las Vegas & The Golden West

Mixing the bohemian cool of San Francisco, the bright lights of Las Vegas and the beauty of the Grand Canyon and Yosemite, this truly inspiring American rail holiday offers an unforgettable experience. We fly from London to San Francisco and spend three nights exploring the city and the infamous prison island of Alcatraz. We then travel across California by train to Yosemite National Park, spending a night surrounded by beautiful scenery in Merced. We continue by train and coach to Las Vegas in Nevada and spend three nights on "the Strip". We leave Las Vegas to experience the awe-inspiring scenery of the Grand Canyon and continue to Hollywood for a night on the RMS Queen Mary. We travel up the Pacific Coastline to Monterey and take in the incredible scenery of Big Sur before flying home from San Francisco.
