India's Palace on Wheels

The luxurious Palace on Wheels provides a superb hotel-on-rails as we discover northern India's fascinating highlights. We explore Delhi, Old and New, before catching the Toy Train to Shimla, the summer retreat of the British. We explore Shimla by jeep before returning to Delhi by train. From Delhi we board the Palace on Wheels and spend seven nights on the magnificent train. We visit the Pink City of Jaipur, enjoy a tiger-spotting excursion in Ranthambore National Park, cruise on Lake Pichola in Udaipur and tour the fairy-tale walled city of Jaisalmer. We also visit the Blue City of Jodhpur before reaching Agra, home of the amazing Taj Mahal. Finally we return to Delhi where we board our flight home.
