Vevey
The town of Vevey is located on the shores of beautiful Lake Geneva, Switzerland's largest lake. It enjoys an incredibly picturesque setting, surrounded by vineyard-covered hillsides, the striking blue waters of the lake and the snow-capped peaks of the distant Swiss Alps. Vevey is regarded as one of the 'Pearls of the Swiss Riviera'. The town enjoys an unusually mild climate and is known for the Mediterranean plants that are found there, including palm trees and cypress trees which line promenade and streets.
