These standard cabins offer soft seating by day, in a cabin that benefits from large windows allowing a lot of light into the space. By night the cabin is transformed into sleeping quarters, with upper and lower level beds. As with everything aboard the Eastern & Oriental Express, cabins are luxurious and hark back to a time of opulent grandeur. The beds are dressed in crisp linens and soft mood lighting brings a gentle glow to the evening hours.
The soft seating in the State Cabins become two side by side single beds in the evening, for any guests who prefer to sleep at floor level. En-suite comes as standard and both cabins have 24 hour service attached, but the State Cabin has a little more space than the Pullman and the larger window brings in light to compliment the beauty of the plush interiors, the softness of the seating and the beds, and the nostalgia of the décor and details.
