Also known as the 'Lößnitzgrundbahn', this narrow-gauge line has been running for just over 130 years, and is a firm favourite of tourists from all around the world. Beginning in Radebeul, the line winds through some truly lovely scenery, past the tiered layers of Radebeul's vineyards, and the nostalgic beauty of the Lößnitzgrund valley, all the way through to quaint little town of Radeburg.
One of the stops on the line is Moritzburg, a pretty area of woods and parkland, near which sits the beautiful hunting lodge of the same name that was used by the Kings and Princes of Saxony from the mid-16th century all the way up to 1945.
