We travel on the Train des Merveilles in Nice. On this line, that literally translated means "Wonderland Train", we travel through the stunning valleys and villages of France, on the line that runs from Nice to Tende. Starting at sea level in Nice, the train gradually climbs over 1000 meters as it runs over the beautiful and hilly region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. We pass through the picturesque village Breil-sur-Roya and the breathtaking and rugged Valley of Marvels, famous for its Bronze Age carvings, in the Mercantour National Park.
